How will Internet Shoppers find my store? The Marketing of your E-Shop is crucial to the success of your online business. Your shop will be optimized for search engines (SEO) and we will include you E- Shop in our E-Mall. This will give you exposure to all users visiting our E-Mall. We will also advise you on marketing strategies including search engine submittal, pay-per-click search engines, newsgroups and newsletters.
What are the costs? The E-Shop system comes in two different options: E-Shop Lite and E-Shop Pro. The main difference between the options is that he Pro version includes a custom template design, while the Lite version comes with the standard template (similar to the one on the demo shop). Do I need to know HTML to create my Store? HTML knowledge is not required to use your E-Shop. You don’t need to understand HTML or other programming languages to build or maintain your store. If you do have knowledge of these languages and programs, HTML and Flash can be used to enhance the look and functionality of your shop. Do I need a Merchant Account to sell my products online? No. You can make use of a Credit Card Payment Gateway that acts as a Super Merchant, with you effectively making use of their merchant account. You pay them a small premium for this service, but the advantage is that you do not require your own merchant account. In you prefer you can open your own merchant account with a bank, and then just use the Payment Gateway to integrate with your merchant account. E-Shop will integrate your Payment Gateway into your site - we have experience with most of the leading service providers in any country. What type of security does E-Shop provide for online transactions? You may also purchase your own SSL security certificate for $150 per year. How long does it take to setup my store? Your E-Shop setup depends on the number of products you feature in your store and the complexity of your product line. It will take approximately one hour to add a few products to the system and to familiarize you with the shopping cart program. General product entry will take approximately one minute per product. Will I need to contact E-Shop to make changes to my store? No. Your E-Shop storefront provides the flexibility to make changes to every aspect of your store. All modifications can be made from your back office control panel from any computer connected to the Internet. May I have my own domain name? Your site belongs to you and will feature your products exclusively. Your store will be on your own domain www.yourdomain.com. Does E-Shop require me to sign a fixed term contract? There are no fixed term contracts. If you are ever dissatisfied with our ecommerce software or service you can discontinue anytime by shutting down your store. How do I setup my Web Store? After signup, you will receive information detailing how to begin building your online store. You will also have access to our support forum, and well as our support team via e-mail.
Can customers log into the site to view the status of an order? E-Shop has a built-in feature that allows customers to log into your site to view the status of an order. Your customers may also log into your site from the order confirmation e-mail sent by the E-shop system. This feature significantly reduces call volume and enhances customer support. These features can be turned off if you do not wish to use them.
Do I need any other tools to get started? E-Shop is self-contained website and is controlled by you from a web-based control panel. You have the ability to control your e-business from any computer connected to the Internet. There is nothing to install on your computer. No plug-ins or downloads are necessary.
Does E-Shop offer web design services and custom programming? Yes. E-Shop provides graphical design and custom programming. Please contact us to discuss your web design and custom programming needs. Can E-Shop be used with an existing web site? E-Shop can be integrated with an existing website. If you already have an extensive website, we can integrate E-Shop into your site, or if you like we can convert your site to a E-Shop enabled site. How am I notified of new orders? For every order, your E-Shop system sends a "new order" notification e-mail. From there, you may log into your site and print order invoices. Orders and customer information is data based in your admin panel so you can search for past orders by last name, order number, e-mail address, and many other criteria.
Can my orders be sent directly to my shippers? Yes. Your E-Shop can be setup to notify your shippers of any sales directly, resulting in a completely automated system.
Who hosts my store? E-Shop will provide you with web hosting services for your shop. |
